What is Gradual Tan?

The Bali Body Gradual Tan is a moisturiser that subtly tans your skin with each application, allowing you to build your perfect tan. The Gradual Tan should be applied to clean, dry skin every 1-2 days depending on your preference of colour. If a darker colour is preferred, the Gradual Tan can be applied morning and night.

How long does it take to see a difference when using the product?

You will see a visible difference after one application of the Gradual Tan. You can then choose to build it up and/or maintain it with additional applications.

Is the Gradual Tan as dark as the Self Tanning Mousse?

The Gradual Tan will result in a subtle tan after each application. The Bali Body Self Tanning Mousse provides a dark fake tan after just one application.

Can I wear Gradual Tan on top of Self Tanning Mousse?

Yes, the Gradual Tan is the perfect product to help extend the life of your Self Tanning Mousse by adding colour. The boost of hydration will also help the Self Tanning Mousse remove without dry patches or streaks.

Is the Gradual Tan safe for sensitive skin?

The Gradual Tan is made with 100% natural DHA and suited for all skin types, including sensitive and eczema prone skin.

How do I remove Gradual Tan?

The Gradual Tan will slowly fade off the skin evenly. If a more immediate removal is required we recommend using our Self Tan Removal and Exfoliating Mitt.

How to guide

Apply to clean, dry skin as often as you like. Can be used everyday as a body moisturiser, it will subtly and gradually tan your skin overtime. The more often you apply our Gradual Tan, the darker your tan will become. Wash hands after application.

Gradual Tan
I am very satisfied with the texture, the lotion absorbs very quickly, and the skin feel silky, but it still has that scent which is very unpleasant, although less intense than the self-tanning foam.
It is advertised as having a pleasant scent, but that is not true.
When you apply it, there is no such smell, but as the colour develops, so does thar scent which reminds you of chemicals.
I hope the company will find a solution to eliminate this unpleasant and irritating smell.
It's immediately obvious that you have used self-tanning lotion/foam/cream.

Best tan i’ve ever used.
I’ve struggled finding a good tan for me while every tan used to leave marks. This one is completely customisable and does not smell weird. I love it as it hydrates my skin like a normal bodylotion and makes me look healthy tanned at the same time. Only thing is that the tan does NOT hold when going into the water for a long time (shower yes, but swimming/surfing/wakeboarding no). Then it does leave marks on my skin where my wetsuit fits pretty tight. Scrubbing will solve this problem but not as easy. However I love it still.

Excellent Tanning
Its just great. Thought it is white and not tinted for application, it goes on so well and evenly and never streaks. It doesn't smell and leaves clothes and sheets perfectly clean! Super product :)
