Top 3 Dreamiest Vacations

From the Caribbean to Australia and a tropical haven in the middle of the Indian Ocean, these spots are actual paradise.

If you have been struck with the wanderlust bug, you probably have a bucket list full of incredible travel destinations you want to visit throughout your lifetime. Travel really is the only thing you can buy that makes you richer, it’s soul awakening, relaxing and just all round amazing. It’s no wonder our biggest competition every year is to gift one lucky babe and her bestie a vacation, there’s really nothing better. To celebrate our Win A Vacay competition we have put together our top 3 dreamiest vacay destinations that should all be on your bucket list.

The Bahamas

We can't talk about dreamy vacay destinations and not include the Caribbean haven of The Bahamas. If you’re looking for some incredible beaches that will crush it on your Instagram, you will find them here. It’s one of the many reasons we choose the idyllic country as the destination for this years Win A Vacay competition. The Bahamas has it all, from white sand beaches with the clearest water in the world to dreamy sunsets and a culture rich in colour, style and self-expression. It’s no wonder it’s a hot spot for celeb watching with the likes of Justin Bieber and Bella Hadid being regular visitors.

If you’re after some serious ‘wow moments’ there are two must-have locations that need to be on your itinerary when you’re visiting the Caribbean paradise. The first is, Pink Sands Beach on Harbour Island. Yes, the sand really is pink and it stretches for over three miles, contrasting with vivid blue water. The views are nothing short of incredible. The second is Pig Beach located on Big Major Cay in the Exumas. It is the only place in the world where you can swim with wild pigs and easily the most popular tourist spot in The Bahamas (make sure you get there early to avoid the crowds). If you'd like to live it up like a celebrity for a week, the only thing left to do is make sure you’re in the running to win the $10,000 vacay there.

Maldives

If you’re regularly stalking our Instagram page, you would know that we are huge fans of the Maldives. There is so much to love about this tropical nation, located in the blue waters of the Indian Ocean. It’s known for its beautiful white sand beaches, blue lagoons and extensive reefs with luxe vacay vibes perfect for babes who want to enjoy their vacation in ultimate tranquillity. If you’re after the best luxury accommodation money can buy, we recommend Gili Lankanfushi. The resort, which was recently voted the best hotel in the Maldives, offer everything you could possibly need. From wine tasting tours with your very own sommelier to day adventures swimming with dolphins and all the delicious food you can dream of.

If you’re after a tropical beach day, trekking out to Fulhadhoo Beach will be well worth it. Sitting on a little-known piece of paradise lost in the waters of the Indian Ocean, this snow-white sand beach is surrounded by far more coconut palms than people. It’s no wonder it is known as one of the best beaches in the country.

Whitsunday Islands, Australia

We didn't plan on including Australia in this blog but when we realised that Whitehaven Beach was named by Forbes as the best beach in the world we had too. Whitehaven Beach is a 7km stretch of spectacular swirls of white sand and aqua water that is best viewed (and Instagramed) from above. We’re talking helicopter or seaplane babes, so even getting there is exciting. What’s really interesting about this Aussie beach is that the sand is composed of 98-percent silica, making it the whitest and coolest sand on earth. Considering the sun can soar well over 30 degrees in the Australian summer, cool sand is a massive bonus.

While the beach is divine at Whitehaven, we recommend staying a short 12km away at Hamilton Island. Both Qualia resort or Beach Club Hamilton have been designed for pure relaxation, while Yacht Club Villas offers the same luxury with a little bit more fun. All you need to take is a pair of bikinis and your favourite Australian-made tanning oils and you’re set for a vacay full of deep tans and major zen.

We don’t know about you but all this vacay talk has got us thinking about going on one. Win a Bahamas escape now.
